The best way to visit Beaugency is to starts from the Loire bridge, medieval work dating back to the 11 century, from which one has a magnificently panoramic point of view. Walk downstream, along the river, passing the ancient abbey then the Tour Cesar 11th century dungeon. Then the Dunois castle was built on the site of the former castle of the Beaugency squires. It house presently the Regional Orleans Museum. Followed by The Abbey Church of Our Lady, a 12th century roman building. Rises to the St-Firmin's Clocher-Porche and stop at the Roman house of the Templars. The Town Hall is a 16th century building, its facade is a typical of the renaissance style in the Loire Valley. Continue afterwards under the Tour de l'Horloge, gate of the 11th and 12 th centuries.
