he town presents an heritage of quality : with the Doctrinaire high school of the 167th century, which is now the town hall, the collegial Saint-Martin and its crypt, the Echevins tower, and the Treillard house. The most beautiful building from the Limousin renaissance is the noble hotel Labenche, which is now the Brive museum. Brive-la- Gaillarde means good eating, food specialities, foies gras, south-west gastronomy and it especially means enjoying the good life. For the best fun : back horsing, tennis, bowling, golf….and above all the rugby passion.
