ieppe is a port on the Norman coast. Francois I expanded this lovely town, built in between the cliffs. It still has a busy attractive fish port and the pedestrian streets are protected from the wind. The beach has a tragic memory of the Canadians landing in June 1944. The jetty is far in the sea and the town is well connected with the rest of the country. There are a few places to visit such as the castle, the casino, the port, the ivory and spices museum, Saint Jacques’ church and the surrounding valleys.
Varengeville(Braques) Arques la Bataille, the glass maker route, the deep paths and the brick castle. Eu, the town and the royal castle where Turner met the king of France.
